Beautiful Words

Tonight I was watching the CMAs. And I was reminded why I love country so much, because the lyrics. I think that everyone can relate to one or many at some point of their lives. Most the time I never take a moment to read and appreciate the lyrics of a song that I enjoy... and because I think that the words/songs that I heard tonight are so beautiful I took the time and posted the lyrics along with the videos

First of all I love Matt Nathanson, and I loved that he combo-ed this song with one of my favorite country bands, Sugarland. I grew an even bigger love for this song after reading the lyrics... for you hopeless romantic types, it's very poetic!

I wanna watch you undress
I wanna watch you glow
Let your hair down All around,
cover us both
You come in a wave
We crash and we roll
You surround me, pull me, drown me, swallow me whole

Chorus: You turn, turn, turn, turning me on

Like a slow fire burn

Know that it's wrong

Still I run, run, run, run right into you

Yeah, I run, run, run, run right into you

You pull me in close

You buckle my knees

I shake and I shiver just to feel you breathe

You trace my lines Stirring my soul

Shoot sparks at the heart of the world and I watch it explode

I love Faith Hill so much, and look forward to her new album and enjoyed her new single!

Hello world
Hope you’re listening
Forgive me if I’m young
For speaking out of turn
There’s someone I’ve been missing
I think that they could be
The better half of me
They’re in the wrong place trying to make it right
But I’m tired of justifying
So I say to you…

Come home
Come home
Cause I’ve been waiting for you
For so long, so long
And right now there’s a war between the vanities
But all I see is you and me
The fight for you is all I’ve ever known
So come home…

I get lost in the beauty
Of everything I see
The world ain’t as half as bad
As they paint it to be
When all the sons, all the daughters
Stopped to take it in
Then hopefully the hate subsides and the love can begin
It might start now
But maybe I’m just dreaming out loud
But until then
